Student Mix Critiques

These non-competitive sessions are an opportunity for AES student members at all stages in their studies to receive feedback on their mixes from a panel of industry professionals, live, in-person at AES conventions and events. Join us to hear mixes by other students, and get tips, tricks, and advice to push your skills to the next level! Maybe one of your mixes can be featured!

Submission Information for AES Long Beach 2025

To sign up in advance and reserve your spot (on a first-come, first-served basis):

Complete this form: https://forms.gle/KjJGY6YJBsBZkzCZ9

You will need to provide a link to your audio file on a Google Drive/Dropbox or similar service as part of that form.

Please note that priority will be given to students who did not enter the Recording Competition, because getting feedback and critique is part of the competition process.

Very Limited Sign-ups May Be Available at the Convention:

There may be very limited sign-ups available at the convention. Sometimes somebody does no show up to a session, so come with your mix anyway, and we may be able to fit you in!
